Well if it is gout then take organic apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons mixed in a cup of cranberry juice or any liquid. If it really is gout then this will help stop the pain and prevent gout flareups. My father is 64 yrs old & suffered for about 2 years from gout and my in my internet research I found many people use organic ACV and it really helps. The doc gave him meds that was too strong for him, he told me when he peed it wouldn't come out straight. Get the "Braggs" brand buy it at any health food store like "Henry's" for under about $3. BTW my father started drinking ACV 2 years ago and still hasn't had any flareups :) I used to get the flu every year and catch every cold then I too take organic ACV once a week and haven't been sick since. Literally an apple a day keeps the doctor away; in this case apple cider vinegar :)
